Face-to-Face Fundraising Campaign Launch
Today, we officially launched our Face-to-Face Fundraising Campaign through a press briefing aimed at raising awareness about our initiative.
The launch was honored by the presence of District Commissioner Mooketsi Lesetedi and a representative from the office of the MP Mr Orapeleng Rampoeleng, various media representatives, and the Management and Staff of SOS Children's Villages Botswana.

The National Director of SOS Children's Villages Botswana Mr Motshwari Kitso, provided an overview of the organization and the campaign. Botswana is currently in a period of self-sustainability, with funding from various sources having significantly decreased, especially in the wake of the global impacts of COVID-19. As an organization, we have taken it upon ourselves to explore alternative methods of self-funding, as the challenges facing children continue to grow, regardless of our financial situation.
The Face-to-Face Campaign under the hastag #banabakebarona, is one of the many strategies we're employing to engage the public and invite them to become committed supporters of our cause. Mr. Kitso emphasized that this campaign is transparent, with clear accountability regarding the funds raised.
