SOS Children’s Villages in Botswana is pleased to welcome Mr. Kebalepile Nelson K. Francis, a highly accomplished development practitioner and organisational leader with more than ten years of dedicated service in Botswana’s civil society sector.

Mr. Francis brings extensive experience in programme management, financial oversight, organisational governance, and community development. His work has consistently focused on strengthening systems and services that improve the wellbeing of vulnerable children, women, and families. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a strong commitment to accountability, sustainability, and results-driven development.

Prior to joining SOS Children’s Villages in Botswana, Mr. Francis served as the Executive Director of Nkaikela Youth Group, where he provided strategic and operational leadership to multi-year development programmes implemented across several districts. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in strengthening internal control systems, enhancing accountability and compliance frameworks, and fostering a culture of teamwork, integrity, and high performance across the organisation.

Mr. Francis holds a Bachelor of Accountancy and is currently completing a Master's Degree in Project Management at the University of Botswana. He is also a registered member of the Botswana Institute of Chartered Accountants (BICA). His unique blend of financial governance expertise and hands-on programme delivery experience positions him as a well-rounded leader capable of providing both strategic direction and disciplined execution.
