SOS Children's Villages Namibia in Botswana

SOS Children's Villages Botswana welcomed it's colleagues from SOS Children's Villages Nambia for a week-long benchmarking exercise. It was both refreshing and insightful for Member Associates to learn from our peers and have an exchange of our experiences. The National Director, Mr Motshwari Kitso welcomed them to Botswana before they headed to the Francistown village to gain real-world insights and exchange knowledge with the team there. 

Both the teams from SOS Children's Villages Namibia and Botswana conducted a debriefing session following three days of fieldwork in Francistown. Our Board Chair, Ms. Esther Kanaimba-Senai, was present to welcome the SOS Namibia team from Francistown. Team Namibia reported gaining valuable insights from their experience in Botswana and we wish SOS Children's Villages Namibia the best in their important work going forward and we are confident that they will implement all the lessons learned during this visit.
