SOS Children’s Villages believes that every child belongs to a family and grows with love, respect and security. Where a child could not grow up in their natural family, SOS Children’s Villages gives that child an alternative family to grow up in with siblings and a mother. Circumstances that can remove children from their natural homes vary from child abuse, death of parents, and alcohol and drug abuse in families. When these children come to SOS Children’s Villages, they receive different therapies according to their needs assessment; they receive continuous counselling and mentorship throughout their stay. Most of these children only leave the SOS care after they complete their university studies. You can help raise these children by becoming an SOS Sponsor.
