Sponsor a Child Now
Home – that means safety, love and security. Having a home means having a place in the world as a child and the chance for a happy future. Every day, children and young people around the world lose their homes to circumstances beyond their control and are helpless to face. From one moment to the next, their childhood is marked by violence, hunger, poverty, illness or fear. SOS Children's Villages takes care of these children and gives them a new home in an SOS Children's Village. With your SOS Children's Village sponsorship you make an important contribution to the future of children in need.
A child sponsor gives regular monetary support to SOS Children’s Villages towards the upkeep of a specific child. Although the funds are not only used on that child, the sponsor is assured that their sponsored child is well taken care of. Updates are given to the sponsor regarding their sponsored child and once all child protection precautions are taken and a relationship is established, the child sponsor can have access to the child by visiting the child at her SOS family.
Once the child comes to SOS children’s Village, they are given a second chance to rediscover who they are and map a way forward for their lives through the help of professionals and mentors. Some children have discovered their talent in music, baking and different sports codes. Help us uncover these stars by contributing towards their sports gears and needed equipment.
House sponsorships are usually taken by companies and the regular contributions are towards the upkeep of children in the specific house. The funds are used to buy food, toiletries, clothing and pay for utilities. Regular updates about children in that specific house are given to the house sponsor.
"Our aim is to give children a childhood and to help them grow up with love, respect and security of a family." Helmut Kutin
