SOS in Action

Our strategy for the upcoming decade is to ensure the best care of children, innovate, and unite more partners so that no child grows up alone.

Success Stories

My name is Olebogeng Dlamini- Makgatlhe. I am a mother of 2 beautiful girls, married to a lovely husband in 2015. I am currently working as an Immigration Administrator. I came to SOS Children’s Village Tlokweng as a baby, actually, I can’t remember much about that.

SOS Children’s Villages Serowe is the youngest and most celebrated of the  3 Botswana SOS Villages. This is due to the fact that it was a ‘dare do it project’. Unlike the other SOS Villages, the construction of the SOS Serowe was fully locally funded.

Percy came to SOS Children’s Village as a baby and he’s grown up to be an amazing young man. This year he turns 15 years old and he has been a wonderful upbringing at SOS. He has gone through formal schooling and this year he is doing form 3.
