Foster care is a form of family-based alternative care, in which a child or young person has been placed by a competent authority in the domestic environment of a family other than the child’s or young person’s own family. The foster family has been selected, qualified, approved and supervised for providing such care by the competent authority (Guidelines for the Alternative Care of Children, Art. 29). Our Foster Family Care program integrates families socially and physically within communities, ensuring a supportive environment.  Since 2015, we now have 15 families in the communities comprising a household size of 4 children.
